[mc1322x] Testing code on Contiki

Regarding the Contiki testing I see it too: almost everything has to  
be tested manually.
I think at least basic functional testing could be done with simple  
scripts (Perl or Python).
Not sure if it possible to get Contiki developers help here.
I'm new to Contiki. I have some experience but again nothing I can do  
until I get the hardware. Hope to get it soon.
And I agree it is not good to release a broken code for any platforms  
but I'm sure nothing you can do until you get some automated testing  
done during a release process.
I'll take a close look at mc1322x-tests to get an idea.
