[mc1322x] Newbie Question

Hey guys,

I just started playing with the MC1322x in my spare time, and I was reading
that the ROM code is modified by code in RAM. If I'm understanding this
right, then whenever an interrupt is called some RAM values might be changed
and there would be no way for the user to know about this. What does the ROM
do if all the RAM is allocated? Or am I off base completely?
