Adapting my flasher to their protocol should not be too difficult.

Now that you mention it, I also get quite a few questions about the
JTAG interface. Last time I tried it seemed OpenOCD was finally stable
enough with the Segger to make some progress writting an OpenOCD flash
driver. We also have some prototype JTAG hardware based on the
FT2232H, but it seems like OpenOCD support for that chip is still
broken...
