I've just pushed two new changes. The first updates the oe and bitbake
modules to versions that work (we are behind oe by a few revisions as
the most recent commits are broken). This includes the patch that
should fix the Ubuntu problem.

The second change defines BBHOME instead of using HOME which will
allow you to change the path more easily.
