If you look back when Jeff W et al. were trying to add OpenOCD support
for this part you'll find that the general attitude was "...it's just
a standard ARM7TDMI-S --- it should work fine". That implies to me
that the ARMv4 OpenOCD has been "thoroughly tested".

It's been working quite well for me now --- that's why I'm interested
to hear from Andrew what versions he is using for everything, and
whether its a THUMB only problem. I've had problems with GDB other
than 7.0.1. I've had problems with various versions of OpenOCD,
although recently it's been pretty good.
